Description
Formed in 1980, ABX Air grew rapidly to become part of the third largest air express company in the United States. A subsidiary of Airborne Express, the airline flew all the freight for Airborne while managing the process of sorting millions of pieces of freight each day. During this time, ABX Air operated and maintained the only privately owned air cargo airport in the world, developing a state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance operation.
Diversifying and taking advantage of skills developed over the decades, ABX Air now provides contract services for a myriad of customers in several capacities throughout the world under both long-term and short-term ACMI and ACMI-F contract relationships as well as one-time charter flights.
