I love this. I saw my grandmother do this so often. Her apron was a do-all item of clothing, in addition to keeping her clothes free of cooking debris. It carried eggs, peas, okra, baby chicks that escaped from mama, wiped our tears or anything else on our face. If she didn't have an apron on, yep, she used her dress and yep, showed her slip. This is fabulous, Brian. Voted for it in the 2020 Contest for Your Story of Art. l/f

Oh...this is still my favorite!...I can’t WAIT to see more of your graphite work in Real time! There is something about excelling in something...leaving it for a time...and revisiting! It is amazing to see how one’s Gifted talent matures in the fallows of that life space! Thank you Laurel, for the thoughtful and kind comments on my drawing. I did it from a picture I took of her decades ago. I took a picture of my grandfather that day too as I recall and created an oil painting from it. "Elwood".
