Description
A color select sunset image looking toward the Chesapeake Bay from Tolchester on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The image was taken from The Shanty Bar at the Tolchester Marina. The palm trees are not native to Maryland but are purchased for the Summer months to add to the ambience of the beach location. A large watercraft carrier is in silhouette on the distant horizon as it moves down the Chesapeake Bay.
This image being in the vertical format and "color select", hopefully helps set it apart from other similar sunset compositions. I made an all grayscale version but I happen to believe personally, that all sunsets should be in color otherwise the main attribute of a sunset is wasted.
