Congratulations on placing 3rd in the competition - OOF - OFF THE PICTURE - JANUARY 2023 F/L
Brian Wallace replied:
Thanks Petra, for the nice comment and L/F. I was the host, and as such I didn't count my own entry for placement. It however tied for 2nd since it had the same amount of votes as another. FAA alternates the placement in such a situation.

Awesome job! I love that museum, and this zany photo is a perfect use for that giant hand! It would make a great "come hang out at the museum" advertisement. Thanks for submitting it to the Humor Me contest.
Brian Wallace replied:
Thanks Randi, for the nice comment on my image. Are you familiar with that museum?

Thanks Mary. I'm glad you got a laugh, and I appreciate your response to my sense of humor. Thanks for the vote also. :)

Hehehe...looks like you had a bit of fun on this one! Great work! v/f
Brian Wallace replied:
Yes I did Kim. I'm extremely shy by nature so while I was in my driveway posing like I could be hanging from something with a remote in my hand and a delay on the shutter, I was wondering who might be watching me from the neighborhood.

Thanks for the nice comment Sarah and Jeff. I have a group for this type of image called OOF - Out Of Frame http://fineartamerica.com/groups/oof--out-of-frame.html?tab=overview. I've included many tutorials on how to do this technique in the OOF group discussion. It's a lot of fun so go to the tutorials and experiment. If you come with something you like, join the group and enter your OOF images.
