Haunting silhouettes of the American cowboy on horseback crossing the riverbed, saluting the end of an era, as they wave their hats in a transparent symbol of nostalgic remembrance as they move westward.

The base image is a photomerge of two shots to produce a slightly wider final landscape of the Big Gunpowder Falls north of Baltimore Maryland. (Original 12-19-17... New extended version with seven figures for client request 5-17-21).
