Goose At Dusk - Cross your eyes and focus on the middle image
Artist

Medium
Photograph - 3d Stereo Crossview
Description
3D stereo crossview silhouette image of a goose between grass weeds with the moon in the background. The silhouette of the goose is actually a sculpture located at The Granary Restaurant in Georgetown on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
To View: Gently converge (cross) your eyes and focus on the middle image that appears while ignoring the outside. This is known as "freeviewing" since no 3D glasses are required to see depth. Not everyone is successful with this method but if you are, it becomes easier the more it's practiced until eventually it's second nature.

Thanks for the encouragement Erica. I still create 3D images in several formats but FAA is the only place I've put any images for sale and the anaglyph format dosn't display well on FAA. The admin of FAA have been informed by myself and at least on other person. I guess it's not enough of a priority for them to change any programming to accommodate the medium. 1/2 of my first 6 sales were 3D stereo, so there is an interested party outside of FAA.

Don't give up your niche just because FAA has a 1 track mind. Do what you feel comfortable with and what you enjoy. Make time for both. Maybe your 3D will start catching on and get you some more members. Good luck whatever you do. Your talents are neverending.

I remember having those 3D viewers when I was a kid, (I'm aging myself lol), but I haven't been able to see out of my right eye for a few years... doesn't stop me from doing art or taking pictures but I can't see 3D and I still am missing the glass when I go to pour something. lol... love this picture though. :)

Thanks for the message Erica. I'm sorry you're unable to see from your right eye. I have also posted this image in 2D on my portfolio. FAA is certainly geared towards 2D, so I've been trying to focus on that here instead of 3D stereo which is really my niche'.

Another amazing one, Brian. I could just stare at this studying the image for a long time - but I'm afraid I would never get my eyes uncrossed, LOL! This is beautiful. v/f

What a nice comment Carolyn. Thank you very much and also for the v/f. I'm glad you're able to freeview this 3D stereo. :)
