Description
Looking over some old photo captures, I came across this one and suddenly I was almost shocked to see a bear shape outlined by the tree branches. I darkened the area around the bear to make it easier to see and digitally added the moon which represents a ball the bear is holding. Otherwise, this is a natural optical illusion I didn't know I had captured with the camera. I did not add any additional tree parts, limbs, branches, or extensions of branches. Some refer to this phenomenon as Pareidolia.

This is usually the curse of an artist to see something unexpected. But this is very interesting!

Thanks Barbara, for the comment. I'm glad you find it interesting. My art philosophy is, "Art doesn't have to be beautiful, but it better damn sight be interesting."

Super Brian - do not be surprised by this observation of other art forms within one you have created or in this instance photographed. This is the magic of nature and of course ART! I see many sculptural transformations within nature and other life shapes and forms outlined. I can only denote this is a marvellous discovery and opens up the creative imagination. It is lovely to see artists being able to share as well as featured in this group. I will keep tuned in to your work for the future.

Thanks Mich, for the nice comment. I used to collect art that had "hidden" images within the image. This was very similar but as you say, photographed. That's the part that was quite different and surprising. :)
