Many areas of the world are now being ravaged by the effects and results of global warming as evidenced in the daily news by tornadoes, droughts, floods, and rising seawater. The news highlights are what gave me the idea for this "take" on the contest.
I added digital manipulation to show a tornado and severe storm clouds with rain in the image. In addition, using a little artistic license, I included a transparent hand with the index finger becoming the tornado. I also added a lightening bolt in relation to the hand.
I've always related twisters as, "The Finger Of God" in my mind so this was an opportunity to manifest the idea into an image. The hope was to convey the POWER of severe weather.
There's an old saying... "It's not nice to fool mother nature".
