Description
3D stereo crossview of small delicate white wildflowers growing in Spring along the bank of the Unicorn Lake stream tributary to the Chester River on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
This side-by-side stereo pair format called "Crossview" or "X-View", is a popular stereoscopy with some stereo enthusiasts because no head-wear is required and there is no inherent ghosts as with the anaglyh format. On the other hand, details are smaller and the entire side-by-side image must be within view to get the 3D effect. Also, not everyone is successful with the "freeview" method used for this format.
To view: Have the entire side-by-side image within view and gently converge (cross) your eyes and focus on the middle image that appears while ignoring the outside. If you're successful with this method of viewing, it becomes easier each time and eventually second nature.
