Joanna Frank (born 1941) is an American actress who starred in The Outer Limits episode "ZZZZZ" (Season 1, Episode 18), which aired January 27, 1964, as "Regina", the entomology lab assistant.
'ZZZZZ' was shot entirely on a massive interior set, including the two story mockup of Ben's house and the full garden constructed by Jack Poplin and his team on Soundstage#4 at KTTV. (source - The Outer Limits:The Official Companion (1986), page 197.)
Frank was born Joanna Bochco in New York City, New York. She is the elder sister of Steven Bochco, the producer of Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue, and the wife of actor Alan Rachins of Dharma and Greg and L. A. Law. Her brother also produced the latter series.
Her first role was in Elia Kazan's 1963 film America, America as the character "Vartuhi". She appeared in The Fugitive as "Chris Polichek" in the episode "Where the Action Is" which first aired January 28, 1964.
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
