Description
While hiking a nature trail at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville on Maryland's Eastern shore, I noticed a female whitetail (Doe), grazing in the open trail on the other side of some trees and brush. I found an opening large enough for a decent capture through the woods for this image. As I continued walking further I eventually was able to get more shots completely in the open area of the trail. (6-18-22).
While processing the image I noticed some "ticks" on one of the ears. I was about to digitally remove them but thought, perhaps I should leave them so people would know, it's not a completely heavenly life for wildlife either.
