Artist's Description

I got to Ft. Smallwood pk close to sunset except the sun was behind the clouds all day. It was actually drizzling a little just before I made the capture. Finally as you can see the sun got low enough to be seen under the clouds. It was gone again in about two minutes.

I stitched two images vertically to gain a little more of the cloudy sky and a bit of the foreground shore. I used a 70 mm focal length.

I uploaded the image 11-9-21 although it was taken 10-28-21.

About Brian Wallace

Brian Wallace

I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
