A rain storm approaching from the west at sunset. The sky shows a contrast in weather with both the storm clouds and sunbeams over an industrial plant with smoke rising out of the smoke stacks. The title reflects the contrast of both the moral and political implications of how we treat the earth in sacrifice of our own needs as a society. The image could be interpreted as showing both "heaven and hell" side by side.
