A cool water fountain in the heart of historic Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore. This sectional detail consists of multiple lion heads reaching for the stream of water with their tongues. The fountain is also distinctive for it's overall cyan color but the eyes of each lion are painted yellow with black outlines and pupils and the tongues are painted pinkish.
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
