Artist's Description
I refurbished and colorized a grayscale image of John Astin (1964), in character as Gomez Addams lighting his cigar with a lit candle. I extracted the background, removed noise, enlarged the image, enhanced the cigar smoke, and candle flame. I colorized the skin, candle and cigar as well as the eyes.
About Brian Wallace

I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
