The Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) is a tall wading bird extremely common in the state of Maryland. The Great Blue Heron's chest plumage contains several colors in a random pattern. Great Blue Heron can be found anywhere, across the state.
Turtles are reptiles of the order Chelonia or Testudines. They are characterized by a bony or cartilaginous shell or carapace, developed from their ribs, that acts as a shield. Testudines include both extant and extinct species. Its earliest known members date from the Middle
