3D stereo anaglyph of a sunset, sunbeams, and birds being drawn toward it. This is a 2D to 3D stereo conversion. The sky is an actual capture of a sunset that I made and the birds, and sunbeams were digitally added for dynamic interest. There is also a 3D stereo crossview version as well as a 2D version.
Red/Cyan filtered 3D glasses are required for viewing and perceiving depth. 3D glasses are available on line. I recommend "American Paper Optics", or "Rainbow Symphony".
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
