This panoramic version of the William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial Bridge, otherwise known simply as, "The Bay Bridge" consists of 7 merged wide-angle images. The view is from the Eastern Shore side of the bay at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville.
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau. Always a great shot from that vantage point! Much better to shoot it then be stuck on it in traffic! ;-)
Brian Wallace replied:
Thanks Robert. I've had my share of backups but can you imagine they've been contemplating yet a 3rd span?
