I selected this image that I captured at Lake Waterford park in Pasadena, Maryland, to be the background setting for a poem which I superimposed over the image. The Path Of Life
The path of life, with all its mystery,
Will challenge our legacy, as we write our own history,
Our desire for progress, nudges us bolder,
With each step forward, and another step older,
We climb the mountains, we swim the lakes,
Whatever the challenges, whatever it takes,
A shorter path, easier and quicker,
May lead us on, slipperier and slicker,
Left or right, right or wrong,
Which will lead where I belong,
So chose your path wisely, don't let it choose you,
When you come to that fork, you'll know wh...
About Brian Wallace
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas.
