Beautiful Brian. I like the deer in this version. I do not know how to do this, but it looks very natural.

Thanks for the nice comment Theresa. The deer are simply "photoshop paintbrushes" which you can search for online and download. Then load them with Photoshop. You can make them any color but they generally work best as silhouettes. I made these brownish and then burnt in some areas. I then added shadows and footprints.
