Description
I took a dead tree silhouette captured at Fort Smallwood Park in Pasadena Maryland and added a female figure at the tree top silhouetted by the light of the moon. There's a bird with it's wings extended out, perched on the outstretched leg. The lady in the tree is a symbolic fantasy of "Mother Nature".
All things have to end eventually, and so the tree has nearly reached that point. For now however, it's a perching place for birds and a tall trunk for ivy vines to run up towards the sky.
Two images were taken vertically of the tree and sky and during processing they were digitally stitched, producing a vertical pano of the subject.
