Bria, I have passed Wye Mills many times while traveling to OC. One of these trips we will have to stop and explore Wye Mills. I had always wanted to see The Wye Oak, but waited too long. I remember when it was blown down. So sad......

Thank you Arlene. Have you ever been to Wye Mills? They have an old church there too as well as an old cemetery and of course our Nation's national tree (and oldest white oak tree was located here (The Wye Oak) until blown down a few years ago in a hurricane. They have planted another tree taken from the original Oak at the same spot. I believe the Wye Mill was built around 1682.
